The SOS village in Vienna was different because the houses blended into the community around them rather than all being in a closed off area. They did this so that the children were not harassed or teased in school because they were orphaned and abandoned. The main SOS building was an fairly large building with about 10 floors a sand box at the bottom and a little playing area for about 100 kids that came there for different reasons. The kids lived in an area close by, connected by a little trail leading a short way into a series of apartment buildings.
In Vienna, we also saw Schonbrunn Palace. It is one of Vienna's most famous landmarks!!!(video blog below)
